On motion of Mr. Dashiell,

Ordered, That the Committee on Claims be and they are hereby
authorized to pay the engrossing Clerks the usual per diem for
each day they are detained after the adjournment.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following
message:

By THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

June 25th, 1861.

Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received the message of your Honorable Body, pro-
posing an adjournment to Annapolis, in lieu of Frederick, as pre-
viously resolved, and respectfully decline to concur therein.

M. Y. KIDD,

Chief Clerk.
Which was read.

The Senate adjourned until the 30th of July, at 12 o'clock, M,

TUESDAY, July 30th, 1861,

The Senate met. There being no quorum present, the Senate
adjourned until to-morrow at 10 o'clock.
