The Mid-Shore Regional Council began its work in July 2001 (Chapter 528, Acts of 2001). The Council is a cooperative planning and development agency for Caroline, Dorchester and Talbot counties on Maryland's Eastern Shore (Code 1957, Art. 20C, secs. 1-101 through 2-301).
